Since 2018, our Welfare of Yacht Crew Project has been dedicated to improving the health, safety and wellbeing of yacht crew around the world.

Life on board can be demanding - physically, mentally and emotionally. Our mission is to ensure that yacht crew and their families are never alone in facing these challenges. We work to provide the support and resources they need, while driving meaningful crew-centred change across the yachting industry.

In 2020, we launched YachtCrewHelp - the world's first free, confidential, multilingual helpline for yacht crew and their families, available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. YachtCrewHelp provides emotional, wellbeing and practical support, no matter where crew are in the world.

So far, over 1,500 crew and family members of more than 40 different nationalities have reached out to YachtCrewHelp and received support from our team.

Every call, every conversation matters - the real stories and anonymous data we gather from crew help to shape our efforts to create lasting change in the industry.

But none of this is possible without your help.

Our work is powered by donations - here are some examples of the positive impact that your donation could have:

Donations keep YachtCrewHelp running

£2,200 (€2,500) could fund 14 days of 24/7 support on the helpline for yacht crew and their families.

Be a force for change

£5,000 (€5,800) could contribute towards publishing our Welfare of Yacht Crew Annual Review, or the development of a new resource for yacht crew.

Help us spread the word online

£1,000 (€1,150) could fund social media support for 1 month, helping us communicate the vital work of the Welfare of Yacht Crew Project to thousands of crew worldwide.

Raise awareness

£500 (€575) could be used to print YachtCrewHelp marketing materials such as posters, flyers or stickers, making sure that the helpline contact details get in front of as many crew as possible.

Just £150 (€175) could help fund the delivery of the YachtCrewHelp helpline service for 1 day.
