On Friday 20th March, staff at Mind in Bexley had been informed by our CEO David Palmer that moving forward we would all be working from home due to the coronavirus outbreak. We all realised early on that the Coronavirus outbreak would have a far reaching and unknown effect on all of us.We were concerned about the wellbeing of our clients and everyone else in Bexley that we were yet to reach.

So we had to move fast!

On the 1st of April, our wellbeing line began and so far we have had over 180 calls and have supported individuals who are feeling depressed, worried, anxious, hopeless, lonely, and in crisis. We have been able to provide them immediate telephone support they need and deserve and we want this to continue!

More than ever we NEED your help! Due to lockdown all fundraising activities have been cancelled and our fundraising stream has been significantly reduced.
