Visit the charity's profileWe have been saddened by the news of the murder of our beloved sister Aya Hachem earlier today as a result of a gunshot incident in Blackburn, Lancashire.
At the age of 19, Aya was on her way to buy groceries when the incident happened. She had her whole life ahead of her.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the family of sister Aya and the community of Blackburn. May Allah (swt) grant her Paradise and grant her family Sabr during this difficult time.
As a Muslim Women-led charity, Global One are pledging to build a legacy, as Sadaqah Jariyah, for sister Ayah in the form of Water Wells for vulnerable women and girls in water scarce communities.
