Western Isles Scouts is embarking on a fundraiser to collectively Walk Around the World! Scouting is a Worldwide Movement so the two go together well. The circumference of the world is 40,075km.

Scouts Western Isles has over 111 young people registered and we endeavour to bring fun and adventure in the activities we run. We are fundraising for three priority areas. Firstly, our hall (although better than it was) is still in need of some love and attention. Secondly, the equipment we use needs updating and replacing, (Like our tents, Marquee and, sports equipment). And thirdly, we are looking to support training for our volunteers to be able to safely carry out adventurous scouting activities with young people.

As of the 19th of June, we have walked 3089 kilometres and have another 36986 kilometres to walk. Gavin Minion has updates on each Walk on his Fundraiser page which is linked below.
