Worthing Food Foundation Christmas Fundraiser

With demand for our services soaring, we will find it harder than ever to give everyone the Christmas they deserve this year. You can help us make sure everyone has food on the table this Christmas and every child has a present to open.

Les Alden Foundation is the parent charity of the Worthing Food Foundation and the Vegan Foodbank. It is led and run 100% by local volunteers. Every penny we raise through our campaigns is used to support local residents through difficult times and to ensure that no one in our community goes hungry.

Story

Worthing Food Foundation is a community run, self referral foodbank that currently feeds over 600 people a week. With the cost of living soaring and more and more people struggling to get by, we have seen demand for our services grow exponentially in the last few months.

As the cold winter months start to bite and more people struggle to pay their bills, we expect Christmas to be busier than ever this year and we are already experiencing financial pressures due to the increased demand.

We are raising £12k, which will cover the cost of supermarket vouchers for everybody to have food on the table over Christmas, plus a voucher, book and sweets for every child.

If you can afford to give this year, you will make a real difference to someone's Christmas.
