Story
Guild Care is a local social care charity supporting people in Worthing and the surrounding area. Since 1933, we have worked alongside the community to provide care and support for those who need it.
We offer a range of services for older people, people living with dementia, and children and adults with learning disabilities, helping individuals live safe, fulfilling, and supported lives.
At the heart of our work is a commitment to care that is accessible, effective, and delivered with kindness. As a charity, we aim to reduce social isolation and stigma, so that everyone we support feels valued, connected, and accepted for who they are.
Our Community Hub, at Holland House and Methold House, is designed to be a lifeline in the heart of Worthing. Here, older people, people living with dementia and children and adults with learning disabilities can find welcoming spaces, tailored support and a real sense of belonging.
This is more than just buildings. It’s about helping people feel connected, valued and accepted for who they are. We are creating centres of excellence for our community offering life-changing services and activities that bring people together, reduce isolation and support better health and wellbeing.
This year, Guild Care has been chosen as the Lady Captain’s Charity for 2026/27 at Worthing Golf Club, and we are excited to work together with the club and its members to raise funds and support for our local community.
