We invite you to host / donate to The World's Healthiest Afternoon Tea with The Caroline Walker Trust to help us fund activities that improve the quality of food for children after school and during holiday breaks.
At the heart of this campaign is a serious issue. The UK has one of the highest rates of child food insecurity in Europe, with 10% of UK children living in severe food insecurity. Many children rely on school meals as their only reliable source of nutrition. After-school clubs may be their last chance to eat well for the rest of the day.
Nutrient-poor snacks, like chips and chocolate, can make up to a third of children’s daily calories. With the rising cost of nutritious food, this problem is only growing.
By hosting an Afternoon Tea or donating to this campaign, you'll be directly supporting our mission to ensure no child goes hungry, and that they have access to the nutritious food they need for their growth and development.
- Support after-school projects that offer healthier food options for children from low-income families
- Fund activities that improve the quality of holiday food provision for children living in poverty
- Provide resources, information, and expertise to enhance food quality and improve the nation’s health
💬 All fundraisers will receive a special shout-out on our social media as a token of our appreciation.
Every donation brings us one step closer to making sure children have access to nutritious food outside of school. Together, we can build healthier, happier futures for all children.
