Story
Join Brittle Bone Society (BBS) this May as we lace up our shoes, hop on our bikes, dive into the pool, or roll along in wheelchairs to raise awareness and funds for Osteogenesis Imperfecta (OI) – also known as brittle bone disease.
OI affects people of all ages, making bones fragile and more likely to fracture. For over 56 years, BBS has been dedicated to supporting the OI community. Fundraising is at the heart of everything we do — it enables us to provide essential equipment, offer subsided events, fund research, and ensure that people living with OI receive the support they deserve. Every pound raised helps us continue this vital work.
Take on the 31 mile challenge!
Go solo or team up with friends, family, or colleagues to complete 31 miles across the month of May (that's 1 mile per day). Every step, pedal stroke, swim, or roll helps shine a light on OI and shows support for those living with the condition and their families.
Share your progress, spread the word, and inspire others to get involved. Together, we can raise the funds needed to ensure BBS can continue delivering essential support and improving the lives of those affected by OI.
Thank you for joining Team BBS this May — your miles matter, and so does your support.
