The crew at Whitstable RNLI are ordinary people doing extraordinary things. Run entirely by volunteers, our lifeboat station is part of the Royal National Lifeboat Institution — a charity that saves lives at sea. Day or night, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, our crew are ready to answer the call. We receive no government funding. We rely entirely on donations from our community to keep our lifeboat launched, our crew trained, and our lifesaving equipment ready.
