What is the Wildwood 2026 FUNdraising Challenge?

The Wildwood 2026 FUNdraising Challenge is our summer fundraiser, designed to connect people with nature while raising vital funds for Wildwood’s work. Complete our checklist of wild, nature-inspired activities (or pick just one) raise £100 or more between March 1st and August 31st 2026, and you’ll be entered into a prize draw to meet the Wildwood Bears!

Four Wild Ways to Become a Wildwood Hero

Wander Wild: Get outside and explore nature your way. Take a woodland walk, nature hike or outdoor swim. To turn this into a fundraiser, ask friends to sponsor every mile, step, or lap. To help you out, we’ve set up a Wildwood team with the Dirty Rotten Scramble - a series of brutal (but FUN!) home grown mud runs and extreme trail runs set in the South of England!

Spot Something Special: Slow down and see what’s around you. Go birdwatching, try a garden wildlife count or head out on a bug hunt. To turn this into a fundraiser, take on a Big Year challenge and ask friends to sponsor you for every species you spot.

Share the Joy Outdoors: Bring people together outdoors for a fun, nature-inspired event. Host a bake sale, tombola, picnic or garden party and collect donations for Wildwood while enjoying the fresh air.

Get Creative in Nature: Let nature inspire you. Create wild art, take nature photos, write poetry outdoors or craft something special. You could then fundraise by selling your creations to friends, family, or your community.
