Organised by Lewisham FoodbankAs we continue to respond to the cost of living crisis, and face another winter where people will struggle to eat and heat, the Mayor is launching a Winter Appeal to raise necessary funds to support the most vulnerable in our community.

We support between 600 and 700 people per week, and over Christmas try to ensure that all our visitors receive festive treats.
Your donation will help:
£5 will fund a household receiving fresh fruit and veg for a week
£10 will fund a Christmas hamper
£50 will feed a large family for a week

In April I needed a food parcel, first time in my life. I was distraught and embarrassed. I was ashamed in front of my wife, and deeply depressed. In amongst the pasta & apples there were some CHOCOLATE BISCUITS. We sat with a cuppa, shared them & talked for the first time in months.
