Story
In previous years, our Surviving Winter Appeal has focused purely on supporting older vulnerable people to stay warm in their homes and this year is no exception. However, with the level of uncertainty in the country affecting so many aspects of life, and the ongoing increase in living costs and food prices, there are now other vulnerable groups in society that are equally at risk when temperatures fall, including children and those suffering poor physical and mental health.
This year, with increasing numbers of people living in deprivation in Suffolk, weve also set up a new Winter Crisis Appeal to help people of all ages to stay warm, stay well and stay connected.
As with the Surviving Winter Appeal, every penny donated to this fund will quickly be used to help another vulnerable person in Suffolk in the coming months.
