Visit the charity's profileIn 2016 UNITED SIKHS recognised the greater need for local community engagement, for underprivileged families in the UK. We decided to take action as there is a need for support in local family hubs where families seek assistance from social services. Due to many individual factors such as domestic violence and unforeseen circumstances these families require basic essentials, that many of us take for granted.
We have now been asked to help almost 500 families stay warm this winter. Simple items such as coats, duvets etc for these families are a luxury. We are in urgent need for your support to ensure that no child experiences the bitter cold this winter.
This project has grown enormously from when we first started: 2016 70 families, 2017 150 families and NOW 2018 we are raising funds for 500 families.
All donations MUST be in by 30th November 2018 to ensure we are ready for packing on the 2nd December. If you wish to get involved please join UNITED SIKHS
