We provide a community centre for disabled children and their families in Wokingham Borough and surrounding areas. We are a charity which provides activities, support, therapies, training and clubs for disabled children of all ages and all types of disability.

Story

Building for the Future's primary objective is to enable the disabled community across Berkshire, especially children and young adults, to thrive and live life without limits. We achieve this by providing access to specialized facilities, support services, and therapy programs tailored to the unique needs of those with disabilities. Our flagship initiative is "Our House" - a custom-designed play and education centre and community hub offering a safe, inclusive environment for disabled children, youth and young adults to engage in play sessions, socialization activities, and access vital resources.

Building for the Future Plus is for local young adults once they have left school. This is a service providing life-fulfilling opportunities for young adults with disabilities who have left school or college. Such opportunities could include workplace experiences, employment, socialising and the pursuit of hobbies and other activities.
