Wedding of Nina Wolpow and Davis Rosborough

A contribution to the future of New York City's natural areas (in lieu of other gifts) would be an incredibly meaningful celebration of our marriage.

Closes 01/06/2023

The NAC is a champion of NYC’s 20,000 acres of forests and wetlands. Our scientists and experts promote nature’s diversity and resilience across the five boroughs, working in close partnership with the City of New York. Our work makes the city a healthier and more vibrant place to live and thrive.

Story

Nina and Davis both grew up outside of Boston. So much of their happiness as kids was generated by being outdoors. While New York, where Nina and Davis live, and plan to stay for the foreseeable future, is jokingly referred to as the "concrete jungle," it's so much more than that -- alongside the skyscrapers and subway grates are 20,000 acres of forests and wetlands. Preserving these natural areas goes hand-in-hand with combatting deleterious effects of global warming and ensuring the wellbeing of New York's 8.4 million residents.
