International Women's Day

Organised by Woman's Trust

Join Woman's Trust this International Women's Day to help us ensure that no woman is ever turned away from our services due to lack of resources.

Woman's Trust supports women affected by domestic abuse by providing counselling and support groups. Domestic abuse affects 1 in 4 women in the UK, it is the biggest single cause of female depression and mental health problems. Help us make a difference and change women's lives.

Story

Woman's Trust are proud to support this years International Women's Day on March 8. The theme is Embrace Equity. For us, equity means, every woman who has experienced domestic abuse that needs mental health support has access to it.

Sadly, this is not the case. Last year, we helped hundreds of women but, we also had to turn away over 1,200 women from our specialist counselling services. Domestic abuse is traumatic. For women to recover and rebuild their lives they need access to our specialist talking therapies.

We need your support to provide the free, specialist counselling for the increasing number of women who need to rebuild their lives as survivors of domestic abuse.

Change the life of a woman in your city today - make a donation to our International Women's Day campaign now and make sure that no women are turned away.
