WOMBLE is in long term foster care, he is 5 years old and came to the UK as a puppy. We quickly realised that Womble was NO ORDINARY DOG! His front shoulder sockets had never developed properly meaning that there was really no sockets to speak of. He also had a severe skin allergy. We immediately put a call out for a long term foster family and two lovely sisters, Mary and Sheila came forward and offered WOMBLE a home with them, where he lives a happy and quiet life.

WOMBLE IS A HERO who has many problems, his back slopes down to the neck, causing TERRIBLE DISCOMFORT in the back, front and hind legs. This is managed with STRONG PAIN KILLERS and anti inflammatory medication. He also WALKS BADLY and has to take 375mg of Paracetamol twice daily for the PAIN, really something needs to be done but his vet is loath to open him up a forth time because the last time he contracted pseudomonas, which is a bacteria that causes LUNG INFECTIONS that don't respond to antibiotics. His skin allergy has improved but also needs LONG TERM MEDICATION to manage it and prevent flare ups. He has REGULAR HYDROTHERAPY for his general fitness and to keep his joints as mobile as possible. We've always known that WOMBLE'S problems would be DIFFICULT TO MANAGE into old age but for now, he's settled and happy. 

We DESPERATELY NEED to pay for WOMBLE'S past and future medication. We REALLY NEED to pay the outstanding amount which is £1028.71 and here is a breakdown of his monthly medication, at the moment cost is, Tralieve £89.68, Synoquin £44.64, Apoquel £89.32 and Previcox £66.64 which is a monthly total of £270.28. We hopefully can start to get this medication online in future which will reduce the monthly amount to £164.50.
