Every day, women’s charities across the UK are saving lives and protecting rights, yet they receive only 1.8% of charitable funding.

Too many women are facing devastating violence, abuse, poor health services, inequality in the criminal justice system and significant economic barriers. Single mothers, Black and disabled women are bearing the brunt of the cost-of-living crisis. Women are doing most of the caring work in our society.

Women's organisations exist to support some of the most marginalised women across the UK. They campaign for systemic change to make ALL women's lives better. Demand for their services is massively outstripping what women's organisations can offer.

Why? Because there is a lack of stable and sustainable funding.

Chronic underfunding means that women's organisations are doing their life-saving work on dwindling budgets and scarce resources. They're at risk of more closures.

That’s why we're raising £10,000 to ensure the Women’s Forever Fund becomes a reality.

In the early stages, donations will help support the campaign to establish the Women’s Forever Fund. Once the campaign is successful, future donations will go directly toward building and growing the Forever Fund itself.

This ethical endowment will create a permanent, sustainable source of funding for women’s charities. By pooling donations from the government, corporates and philanthropists and investing the money responsibly and ethically to generate ongoing returns, we can make sure women's organisations have a more secure future. Instead of firefighting, they'll be able to plan ahead, grow their services, and reach more women who need support.
