Organised by DKMSSomeone is diagnosed with blood cancer in the UK every 20 minutes. Every minute of every day blood cancer takes a life somewhere in the world. It costs £40 to register a new potential donor; the money raised will help cover the cost of registrations

Visit the charity's profileDKMS have had an amazing 2019 so far! We've registered record numbers of potential life-saving donors, which is wonderful! However, it costs £40 to register each new donor. We send out swab kits for free (because we want as many people to register as possible).
So we need wonderful people like you to help us to cover the cost of giving blood cancer patients a second life at life. And we thought what better way to highlight blood cancer and drum up support than getting our supporters together in red.
We thought that there was no better way to celebrate World Blood Cancer Day on 28th May than to 'wear it red' and raise funds to help to cover the costs of registering more potential life-savers! Whether it's holding a cake sale, having a 'wear it red' at day work or taking on a run or walk, you'll be part of the fight against blood cancer.
