Story
Help us spread F.L.A.M.E.S.
Every 20 seconds, someone, somewhere in the world is diagnosed with encephalitis. Earlier recognition can save a life—or change it forever.
This World Encephalitis Day, we're continuing to spread F.L.A.M.E.S.—our life-saving awareness initiative led by you, our encephalitis community.
F.L.A.M.E.S. is helping raise awareness of the common signs of encephalitis so that more people recognise the symptoms sooner and seek urgent medical attention. The earlier encephalitis is recognised, the better the chance of improving outcomes.
This WED, help spread F.L.A.M.E.S. to schools, hospitals, GP surgeries and community spaces around the world, helping ensure fewer families experience the devastating impact of delayed diagnosis.
