Endangered Rhino Conservations works to combat the war on rhinos by assisting anti-poaching teams, veterinarians, conservationists and air support teams who struggle every day to protect and save rhinos from extinction.

Story

Across Africa, rhinos are fighting for survival. In the last 10 years alone, 8,000 rhinos have been brutally poached. That’s almost two every single day - killed for their horns, driven by greed, and lost to future generations.

At Endangered Rhino Conservation (ERC), we refuse to let rhinos slip into extinction. Based on a 12,000-acre reserve in South Africa, we support anti-poaching scouts, veterinarians, conservationists, and specialist dog units – the frontline defenders who risk their lives daily for rhinos.

This World Rhino Day, we are setting ourselves an ambitious target, in-fact our largest ever public appeal: to raise £8,000 - in memory of the 8,000 rhinos lost.

With your help, we can protect the rhinos who remain and give them the future they deserve.

Here’s how your gift could help right now:

•£10 could help buy essential kit to keep an anti-poaching scout safe on night patrol.

•£20 could help keep one of our 12 anti-poaching rangers on duty, fully trained and equipped.

•£50 could help feed and care for our loyal anti-poaching dogs for a week.

•£100 could provide a brand-new pair of patrol boots for a ranger, worn out after walking 16km every night.

•£250 could help fuel our patrol vehicles to reach poaching hotspots across the reserve.

•£500 would cover the cost of one hour helicopter flight to locate rhinos for de-horning.

•£708 could fully fund an anti-poaching scout for an entire month – salary, uniform, and all essential equipment.

•£780 could provide the fund for us to trim one rhinos horn to reduce the risk of poaching.

•£1,300 could provide a full month of food and veterinary care for all 16 of our anti-poaching dogs.

•£8,500 could fund all 12 anti-poaching scouts for a month, ensuring 24/7 protection for the rhinos under our care.

Every gift, large or small, is part of the fightback.

Once you have looked into the eyes of a rhino, you never forget them. You never stop fighting for them. And this World Rhino Day, we are asking you to stand with us - to ensure these magnificent animals are not lost to history.

Together, we can write a different story for rhinos – one of survival, not extinction.

Thank you for your unwavering support.
