Visit the charity's profileWe've been building communities with music for 40 years. We use folk and traditional music to empower hundreds of people from all backgrounds to make music, using voice or instruments.
Our home is on Dartmoor and we reach out across Devon, Plymouth and Torbay. We are specialists in the traditional music of Devon, and use this to promote local cultural history. We also create new works, turning the lives of people today into the folk songs of tomorrow.
We bring together people who otherwise may never meet. Music-making together gives people regular contact with a group of friendly people, the opportunity for self-expression, the chance to learn about local cultural history, improve a new skill, and feel proud to achieve something with others.
With folk tunes and memorable melodies, we work towards a world where every voice is heard. Help us to continue this important work.
