Story
During the blessed month of Ramadan this year, what better act to do than provide mobility and dignity to disabled people in need with your Zakat and Sadaqa.
Surely helping people who are most often forgotten, overlooked, ignored and hidden, even in the month of Ramadan is a deserving cause. Your support will give them the freedom to move independently, access society, the local mosque, education, gain employment or income. It will help the carers and their families too.

Every wheels turned, every step taken falls under the best form on Sadaqa Jariya, continuous giving. too.

With a track record of sending multiple containers to Pakistan, on the ground Wheels to Heal is working with Disabled Welfare Association in Karachi Sindh to answer the call of hundreds of beneficiaries waiting patiently for everything that we take for granted.
Our partner on this occassions is The Disabled Welfare Association (DWA) is a prominent Sindh-based Organization of People with Disabilities (OPD) headquartered in Karachi. Established in 1999 and registered in 2003, it operates as a leading NGO dedicated to the empowerment, rehabilitation, and social inclusion of Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) across Pakistan.

These are just some of them who are witing for our help.

Don't make them wait too much longer, inshallah.

By supporting Wheels to Heal means championing an an award winning , grassroots entirely volunteer led initiative with a 100% donation policy.

About Wheels to Heal.
What started as a one off gesture to recycle 150 unwanted wheelchairs in 2015 has now turned into a registered U.K. charity (Wheels to Heal - Charity Reg No.: SC048507) and has recycled over 40,000 wheelchairs and 2other mobility aids to countries such as Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Gambia, Ghana, Iraq, Jamaica, Lebanon, Malawi, Morocco, Palestine (Gaza), Pakistan, Sierra Leon, Somalia, Sri Lanka Somalia, Syria, Tanzania, Uganda, and Yemen. These aids transform lives, families and even communities by providing access to independent living, to education, employment and integration into the wider community. Only 10% of disabled people in third world countries and those suffering from conflict have access to a mobility aid and are often stigmatised within their own communities - meaning millions remain vulnerable and desperate.
By offering this service the charity is connecting donors and recipients from all over the world.
The charity is run entirely by a small team of volunteers and has a 100% donation policy (125% with Gift Aid). The concept was anonymously nominated as a finalist for the Change Maker of the Year category at the Just Giving Awards, received the British Citizens Award for International Community Development, a Point of Light certificate for being an impactful community based project and crowned Scotland's Champions.
This is however only a drop in the ocean of what we can achieve.
A recent BBC documentary found that hundreds of thousand of wheelchairs and mobility aids are left unused every year.
Many wheelchairs and mobility aids end up in landfill still in the U.K. We can avoid this by rescuing more items before they end up there - and send them to Pakistan on this occasion. Your donation includes the cost collecting, storing and delivering used and new wheelchairs and mobility aids to those in need.
