The campaign has now expired but it's not too late to support this charity.
Visit the charity's profileIn July 2019, Dave Gladen, Neil Curran, Carol Wraight and Colin Dowling will be taking on the ASICS London 10k. We're running the race to raise funds and awareness for Transaid, our partner charity who help transform lives in sub-Saharan Africa.
Funds raised from the challenge will go directly to Transaid in order to ensure that they can provide safe and sustainable transport solutions in rural communities. Please sponsor us by making a donation here or on one of our individual runner pages.
Strengthening rural emergency transport systems is essential in the case of severe illnesses, such as malaria, as it is vital that treatment begins within the first 24 hours of symptom onset. Children diagnosed with malaria are transported by bicycle ambulance (provided by Transaid), a safe and effective mode of transport helping to ensure that they receive treatment in time.
