St Mary's Church is a life enhancing, soul treasuring, memory cherishing, special space. Our 800 year old building is at the heart of our village, where Christian worship and other community activities are welcomed. Your support is vital to ensure we are able to continue this into the future.

Story

This iconic Yorkshire challenge is raising vital funds for our St Mary's Hook 800+ Project, which will renovate and restore our church fit for the 21st Century.

The Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge is a 24 mile (38.6km) round trip route, which includes 5,200ft (1,585m) of ascent. The challenge includes three iconic peaks in the Yorkshire Dales National Park - Pen Y Ghent (694 metres), Whernside (736 metres) and Ingleborough (723 metres) with the goal of completing in under 12 hours.

However, you can choose to complete one, two or all three peaks.

We will provide help with training, expert guides and back up support on the day of the challenge and we have many ideas to ensure you can maximise your fundraising.
