Help Yorkshire Aid Convoy Deliver Life-Changing Aid – March 12
In March, Yorkshire Aid Convoy will be travelling once again to deliver vital aid to vulnerable people whose lives have been torn apart by war and poverty.
🚛 The cost of transport alone is over £18,000, before a single item of aid is delivered.
This trip will support:
• A care home in Ukraine housing displaced and vulnerable residents, taken in by a local priest who opened his doors when they had nowhere else to go
• The donation of a minibus, allowing residents to leave the building, attend appointments, and experience life beyond four walls
• Delivery of essential equipment, supplies, games and activities to improve daily life and wellbeing
• A disabled boy and his family living in extreme poverty — providing a wheelchair to give him dignity and ease daily care, plus home upgrades to improve living conditions
In December, when we delivered basic supplies, his mother (who cares alone for her disabled son and disabled brother) was so grateful that she made handmade gifts for every volunteer, despite having almost nothing herself.
💙 Every donation helps us keep our promises.
💙 £1, £5, £10 — it all adds up.
💙 If you can’t donate, please share this page.
Thank you for standing with Yorkshire Aid Convoy.
