We launched our new Choral Scholarship scheme back in 2023 and during that time have successfully attracted several new student singers who have contributed hugely to the continued success of the choir

We would like to keep the momentum going by continuing to support four 12-month choral scholarships for new student singers in YBC, open to all voice parts and higher education students.

YBC has a strong history of developing young talent, with many alumni going on to professional singing careers in renowned ensembles like the BBC Singers, The Sixteen, Stile Antico, King’s Singers, The Swingles, I Fagiolini and The Monteverdi Choir.
