We are thrilled to share our exciting journey as five dedicated members of the Battens family lace up their running shoes for the Yeovil Half Marathon, all in support of the Battens Charitable Trust. Our runners are:
- Conveyancing Executive Michelle Lane,
- Senior Associate - Chartered Legal Executive Christine Greengrow,
- Sherborne Office Admin Charlie Rendell,
- Chartered Legal Executive Emma Taylor,
- Jess Leat running on behalf of Tim Leat, who is Chartered Legal Executive in our Bridport office.
Battens Charitable Trust was set up in 1985 to enable grants to be made to registered charities and for charitable purposes in Somerset, Dorset and adjoining counties. Over the years, the Battens Charitable Trust has touched the lives of many, donating a staggering £500,000 and counting. The impact has been widespread and diverse, reaching local schools, youth organizations, hospitals, hospices, foodbanks, wildlife groups, disability organizations, and the arts. Every penny donated has made a meaningful difference in the lives of those in need.
We express our deepest gratitude for your support. Every donation, big or small, brings us closer to our goal of supporting the incredible work of the Battens Charitable Trust. Let's run towards a brighter future, one step at a time!
