At YMCA Doncaster, we believe every young person deserves a safe home, support they can rely on, and the chance to build a brighter future.

Right now, we provide a safe home for 30 young people who would otherwise be facing homelessness or unsafe situations. Last year alone, our Youth Support Coaching Programme delivered over 1,000 one-to-one sessions, helping our young residents gain the confidence and skills they need to live independently.

We also run free creative activities for local children aged 5-16, providing a welcoming space to learn, make friends, and feel part of something positive. In 2024, we supported 148 children through 419 activity bookings, and demand is rising, with 953 bookings from January to July.

But the cost of providing vital support is increasing, and we need help to ensure every young person who turns to us continues to have a safe space to thrive.

🎄This Christmas, we’re asking our community to help us raise £2,025, a gift that will help ensure we can:

Every donation, big or small, directly helps support vulnerable young lives in Doncaster:

➡️ £15 could provide craft materials for a children’s activity session.

➡️ £30 could give a welcome pack of essentials to a young person moving into our accommodation.

➡️ £70 could enable a one-to-one coaching session for a young person at risk of homelessness.

➡️ £100 could fund a child’s place at our weekly activities for an entire term.
