🐾 YOMP 2026 – Run, Walk or Climb for Eden Animal Rescue

From 12th–14th June 2026, the YOMP Mountain Challenge in Kirkby Stephen will bring together runners, walkers and adventurers for an incredible weekend in the hills.

With distances including Ultra, Mountain Marathon, Sunset Stroll, 20k, 10k and 5k, there truly is a challenge for everyone. Alongside the races, the weekend also includes stalls, events and a fantastic community atmosphere.

This year, Eden Animal Rescue is inviting participants to turn their miles into something even more meaningful — by raising funds to help animals in need.

Every year, Eden Animal Rescue takes in dogs and cats who have been abandoned, neglected or simply have nowhere else to go.

Many arrive frightened, hungry or in need of urgent veterinary care. Our team works tirelessly to give them:

• Safe shelter

• Food and warmth

• Veterinary treatment

• Time, patience and love

• The chance to find a forever home
