Visit the charity's profileAt the RSPCA York, Harrogate & District Branch we never give up on a re-homeable animal. Animals come in to us in three main ways: Brought in by inspectors after the animals have been rescued from an unfit environment; handed over by owners who can no longer meets the needs of their pet and animals that are found injured or abandoned brought in by concerned members of the public.
Here at York Animal Home, we are an independent charity and primarily self funded. The money we spend on our work at the home is raised in York, Harrogate and surrounding areas.
We rehome on average 400-500 animals a year into their forever homes. Please help us show these animals a life they deserve.
