Story

This is a full day, long challenge to work towards and achievable by those who have some previous walking experience, with a good level of fitness and stamina to keep going for around 12 hours! Most groups take between 10-13 hours. The beautiful Yorkshire Dales plays host to this Three Peaks challenge and takes in the iconic peaks of Ingleborough (723m), Whernside (736m and the highest summit in the Yorkshire Dales) and Pen y Ghent (694m). There are lengthy sections of rolling paths in between the peaks. On a clear day you can see the whole route laid out before you from each summit and you’ll be treated to a close up view of the magnificent Harry Potter-esque Ribblehead Viaduct!
