It's been a busy year at Age UK York. We have helped nearly 2000 people get valuable Information and Advice and supported over 600 people with money and benefit queries.

We've run Day Clubs all over York, provided befrienders to older people who are experiencing loneliness, supported older people who have been discharged from hospital and helped older people get out and about in their community.

We've provided carers to give people who look after others respite care and have run a range of events in the community to tackle loneliness.

All this has made a real difference to the older people of York. But wew are getting more and more calls, older people are experiencing increased loneliness since the pandemic and the cost of living crisis is hitting older people as well.

Age UK York is at the front line of supporting older people in York. But we can't do this without donations. Your donation will go a long way towards enabling us to provide such support in York.
