Institute of Excellence was organized to provide young people, including those from deprived backgrounds within the local communities, with opportunities through a variety of activities and training.

Our targeted audience ranges from the ages of 5 to 25. This is a huge range and the reason for this is to incorporate young adult with special/additional needs, such as Social, Emotional, Physical and Mental Health.

The reason we are now seeking support is to deal with the impact of Austerity measures

• Funding towards assisting young people and the most vulnerable youths to attend the Retreat and follow up events.

• Assistance with accommodation, transportation to and from the Retreat

• Support with ensuring the youths eat healthily whilst in our care

• Assistance for teaching materials and sports equipment

We endeavour to take both a holistic and youth led approach to projects, therefore making them flexible to our users’ needs by using a bottom-up approach to further encourage social inclusion, participation and engagement. Our projects are framed and developed around The Every Child Matters framework, and is essentially focused on all 5 outcomes.
