Yeoman Park Academy has been working well in their current building, however over the years it has started to struggle with the changes required to meet the needs of our students and the age of the facilities. Recently we were fortunate to be selected by the Department for Education (DfE) to have the academy rebuilt.
This is a fantastic opportunity for the students, staff and local community. The new academy will be constructed on land adjacent to the existing to ensure the impact on student life is minimised.
It is anticipated that the new academy will be ready for use late in 2024.
Whilst the DfE and Nottinghamshire County Council are funding the construction and basic fit out of the building, it does not include for all or the equipment, play spaces and items that will be required to ensure a flourishing environment of the students.
As such we are looking to fundraise as much as possible to ensure these opportunities can be met.

Our Head of Estates and Facilities Management has accepted the challenge to ride Paris-Brest-Paris to support this opportunity.
Paris-Brest-Paris is the oldest long distance cycling event in the world, the inaugural one having taken place in 1891, 12 years before the now world-famous race the Tour de France.
This year’s event starts on the 21st August, with some 7000 participate endeavouring to complete the 1230km route in 90 hours or less via a number of set control points. Starting on the Western side of Paris, heading out through Normandy towards Brittany and the coastal port of Brest, then turning around and heading back.
