The Alumni Connection Advisory Group and the Employee Alumni Affinity Group have come together to champion a new scholarship designed to open doors for non-traditional students — those whose paths to college may have taken a few unexpected turns.

The YTC Alumni Scholarship fund supports students who are first generation or returning to education after life’s interruptions — whether through military service, parenthood, caregiving, health challenges, or economic hardship. It also assists those pursuing new credentials or career changes, or who earned a GED or high school diploma and chose to begin college later in life.

Every gift to this scholarship helps students who embody resilience and determination — first-generation learners, career shifters, and lifelong learners who are rewriting their stories through education.
