Story

The Partnership between Youngs and Wooden Spoon is celebrating the year of rugby in the 200 year since Rugby began.

Youngs pubs and hotels are at the heart of our local communities in London and the South of England. With more than 220 establishments, our award-winning design approach means excellence in ambience as well as service and location. From poetic pubs steeped in history to secret underground cocktail bars, the character and individuality of each of our premises give them a unique feel. Our pubs have style and soul, and the people who work with us have pride in our culture and passion for the work they do.

Wooden Spoon is the childrens charity of rugby. We are a grant-making charity and fund life-changing projects across the UK & Ireland.

We have a national footprint, but the largest part of our income is raised by local volunteers. Our aim is that every penny that our volunteers raise is spent in their local communities.

We are asking you, the rugby community, to come together, in the true spirit of rugby and help us change young peoples lives through charities such as Dogs for Good.

We all know the difference dogs can make to our lives. But for the people they support, our dogs can actually make life possible.

The partnership will be helping to fund assistance dogs to support groups of children and young people with a range of disabilities and social needs.
