Being afraid of heights, R.W.Bro. Andy Beaumont cannot contemplate jumping out of an airplane like R.W.Bro. John Bell, or riding on the top wing of a bi-plane like the Provincial Grand Master of Essex. He is, however, prepared to ‘fly’ a zip line. Not just any old zip line, but the world-famous Velocity 2 in North Wales.

It’s said Velocity 2 is an exhilarating experience, being the fastest in the world since 2013. The 1.5-kilometre zip line with four parallel lines over two separate zip lines allows a unique experience whilst speeding over the Penrhyn Quarry lake up to and over 100 miles an hour while taking in the unbeatable views of Snowdonia (if he has his eyes open).

This feat of madness will take place on Thursday 6 July 2023 and any amount of sponsorship will be gratefully received!!

A video of this trip of a life time (hopefully not his last) will be posted on the Wiltshire Mark Provincial website as soon as possible after the event, so you can enjoy his terror personally.
