Story
In Celebration of International Red Panda Day 2023, we are raising funds for the Red Panda Network, a fellow charity committed to the conservation of wild red pandas and their habitat through the education and empowerment of local communities.
Red pandas are classed as endangered in the wild, with the population declining by 50% in 20 years, with as few as 2,500 remaining in the wild. Habitat Loss is the biggest threat to red pandas. Rapid human population growth in the Eastern Himalayas is causing deforestation and the degradation and fragmentation of red panda habitat.
As a conservation charity, protecting wild futures is our primary goal, and this year we're raising funds to reforest one hectare of land for red panda conservation.
On Saturday 16th September, we will be celebrating the day with our very own red panda, Jasper. Join us for red panda trivia, activities for children, plus so much more. Come along and show your support.
