Al-Noor Foundation has been providing quality education and character development in East London for over 15 years. The focal project is the Al-Noor Primary school, which has achieved high academic performance coupled with quality Islamic character development for many years. Our primary school children go onto some of the best secondary schools, colleges and Universities whilst preserving a strong sense of identity and responsibility to the community.    Not only does Al-Noor Foundation provide a primary school, but additional projects including the Qur’an Academy, Sports club with over 80 pupils in the football academy, a Hifdh school which has had 23 pupils complete memorisation of the Qur’an, Meet your Muslim Neighbor event, Scouts group and the award winning ‘Positive Change’ campaign to clean up the local area.    Al-Noor Foundation now embarks on its next project; to create one of the largest Muslim Secondary Schools in the UK for 900 students. To this end, we have purchased the Newton Ind Estate, a 3 acre site for £4.4m. The purchase of the site was completed within 3 months via community loans. We need your help and support by raising funds so that we can make our school debt free.   This school project has tremendous potential to provide high quality secondary school education with a clear and strong ethos. A legacy that our community will inshallah benefit for generations to come.
