Alex, The Leukodystrophy Charity (Alex TLC) was founded in 2004 by a mother whose two sons had been diagnosed with leukodystrophy. She recognised the severe lack of information and support available and wanted to make sure that no one had to face leukodystrophy alone.

Story

100% of the donations will go towards those suffering with  Adrenoleukodystrophy (ALD) and adrenomyeloneuropathy (AMN). Please visit our website for more information: www.aldlife.org

This year's theme for Rare Disease Day is 'research', something that is crucial to help support ALD and AMN patients and their families, aiding with the development of diagnostic tools, treatments, cures and improving social care.
