We have launched an emergency appeal to help 400,000 civilians trapped at the heart of a raging civil war. Al-Khair Foundation, a leading British Muslim charity, is spearheading an appeal to raise a £100,000 relief fund to provide humanitarian aid to the besieged area on the outskirts of the Syrian capital, Damascus.  “The situation in Ghouta would break anyone’s heart. They are suffering unimaginable pain and the death toll is rising by the hour.” says Imam Qasim, chairman of the Foundation that delivers humanitarian support across the world.“They need us to provide a lifeline and they need it now.
