Visit the charity's profileArk Franklin Primary Academy is a three-form entry primary school, which opened in September 2013. The school’s name commemorates the locally-born scientist Rosalind Franklin, whose pioneering work contributed to the discovery of the DNA helix.
Here at Franklin, a positive climate for learning and a culture of high expectations prevails, a shared belief that all members of our learning community can achieve to a high standard, regardless of circumstances or background. Our pupils receive excellent teaching and engage in a rich and varied curriculum, both inside and outside the classroom, including specialist Spanish, music and art lessons, alongside outdoor learning experiences in our geodesic dome.
