The campaign has now expired but it's not too late to support this charity.
Visit the charity's profileFrom 30 November-11 December 2015, the UN Climate Change Conference, COP21, will be taking place in Paris. The conference is crucial as it aims to reach an international agreement for reducing greenhouse gas emissions and keeping global warming below 2°C.
Bringing together around 40,000 participants, Paris 2015 will be one of the largest climate conferences ever organized. But to bring a Christian voice to the discussions, we think it is important that A Rocha has a presence there too. For this we need your help!
Our target is to raise £21,000 by 21 October so that, working with partners, we can advocate for and engage COP21 attendees and campaigners in climate-based creation care.
A number of events and activities are being planned, including a one-day international conference hosting high-profile speakers who will talk about creation care; a speaking slot in the climate Generations area; and a church base in Paris, to be used for gatherings, prayer vigils and church services.
