Story
We want to expand the age of recipients (we currently go up to 1 year) and also start supporting families through pregnancy, birth and parenting.
Funds raised are necessary to buy items that cannot be given out second hand such as cot mattresses and bottle teats.
The creation of Baby Bank Network came from a motivation to help alleviate child poverty, support families in need at a what may be a time of financial and emotional stress, whilst reducing waste and promoting reuse of items.
Baby Bank Network is a charity founded in June 2015. The charity redistributes pre-loved baby items to families that cannot afford to buy them. Working closely with children’s centres, health visitors and other organisations that are in contact with vulnerable families, we supported over 340 families since August 2015 and are currently supporting 50 families per week up from 10 at this time last year.
