Jersey Baby Bean Appeal
We are raising funds to buy a 7th wireless fetal monitor for Jersey General Hospital’s Maternity Unit!
The Appeal has been formed by Baby Lifeline, Philips Footprints, and Friends of SCBU.
Story
The monitors give greater freedom of movement during labour for mothers, especially those with high risk pregnancies, greatly increasing the chance of a physiological birth and a positive birthing experience for Jersey mothers and their families.
The appeal launched on Saturday, 11th June 2016 in St Helier, Jersey. Distinguished guests included: Dame Barbara Windsor, Celebrity Guest Auctioneer Eric Knowles, TV’s Nick Owen, and Elizabeth Emanuel.
Our most recent event, a special screening of You, Me & Him, was attended by David Tennant, Sally Phillips, Christian Brassington, Georgia Tennant, Daisy Aitkens, Nick Owen, Bev Bevan and Tessie Orange-Turner, with guest host Charlie McArdle.
