The Bone Cancer Research Trust is the leading charity dedicated to fighting primary bone cancer. Our mission is to save lives and improve outcomes for people affected by primary bone cancer through research, information, awareness and support.

Story

In 2018 our fight continues... and it looks to be a truly exciting year for the Bone Cancer Research Trust. The year will see us begin our commitment to £2.8million of pioneering new research to explore new treatments and ultimately bring us closer to a cure for primary bone cancer. We will also run GP training campaigns to spot the red flag symptoms of the disease as well as launching our new digital support groups and a number of new patient information materials. We'll do all of this, plus, our annual patient conference which will take place in June and we'll be running a number of vital awareness raising campaigns throughout the year including Sarcoma Awareness Month and Bone Cancer Awareness Week

In order for us to deliver all this fantastic work for the primary bone cancer community we are asking you to Be One In A Million and help us raise £1,000,000 for our life saving work! Every one makes a difference!

Our commitment to research and finding a cure for primary bone cancer has never been stronger. Sadly though, in 2017 alone, we received 9 times the number of research applications that we were able to fund (totalling over £2million)- meaning that vast amounts of promising research is being left unfunded and potential breakthroughs missed

Our current research projects are at the forefront of many new discoveries and potential new treatments whilst our infrastructure work is facilitating more high quality research than ever before - but we need more funding to fuel this vital work and keep the momentum going!

A child, teenager or adult is still being diagnosed every 10 minutes so please, Be One In A Million in 2018 and support our vital work! Thank you!
