Visit the charity's profileAll boys and girls connected to Raiders from the age of 14-35 years will have the opportunity to have cardiac screening at Ashlyns School on Saturday 21st April organised and run by CRY - Cardiac Risk in the Young. Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY) is a national charity saving young lives and supporting those affected. The Charity aims to reduce the frequency of young, sudden cardiac death by working with cardiologists and family doctors to establish good practice and appropriate screening faciliites to help protect and promote the cardiac health in our young. The heart is too immature to pick up certain abnormalities before the age of 14, so if your child sits outside of this lower age limit then Raiders will be holding the same event every 2 years from now on. The test is painless, non-invasive and takes only a few minutes to perform.
Berkhamsted Raiders are funding the screening
