Story

The children's authors Michael Rosen and Annemarie Young have come out with a fantastic new book called What is Humanism? How do you live without a god? And Other Big Questions for Kids. It's so good that we think every young person should be able to read.

It's an incredible book full of familiar faces, with contributions from humanists like Stephen Fry, Camila Batmanghelidjh, Philip Pullman, Jim Al-Khalili, Natalie Haynes, and Shappi Khorsandi, who explain their own approaches to life - based on empathy and without gods.

In 2014 and 2015, we successfully sent copies of Alom Shaha's The Young Atheist's Handbook to secondary schools and young offender institutions across the UK. Now we want to do the same for primary schools, so that young people of all ages can have access to wonderful books like this and make up their own minds about what they believe. We need your gift (& gift aid!) to raise £50,000 to get this book into every primary school in the UK. Please, can you donate today?
