Big Hearts Community Trust, the official charity partner of Heart of Midlothian Football Club, is supporting hundreds of kinship care families across Edinburgh.

To further help the ones who face challenging financial circumstances, we've created the Emergency Essentials Fund. 

This investment from Big Hearts enables our partner Buttle UK help these families purchase essential household items such as cookers, washing machine or children's beds.

In 2017 only, the Fund supported 66 families including 112 children.

With a local demand higher than anticipated Big Hearts expects a need of over £30,000 in crisis grants for 2018.

This is where we need your help! 

Big Hearts is an independent organisation which operates as a limited company with charitable status. Therefore we need to secure external resources to fund our programmes of support. 

We would appreciate any donation towards this cause to ensure we can support the Kinship Care families across Edinburgh who need our help.
